The event will target over 200 with Each artist performing for at least 10 minutes without breaking the continuous chain of rap and other genres. The team will include Hiphop artists, acoustics, spoken word, drummers, musicians, acrobats, DJs among others who will sustain the chain for 24hrs straight.
On 25th and 26th September there will be an artist workshop at PAWA254 which will highlight the theme of social entrepreneurship and act as a platform for artists to understand the need for social change. The workshop will bring together artists from various music backgrounds, artists with alternative careers, artists in business and artists involved in other programs aside from music.
In the bid to promote social change, there will be a clean-up on the 28th of September to commemorate World Cleanup Day that will include all participating artists. The cleanup dubbed #safishawesty is in partnership with Kenya Association of Manufacturers under the #safishajiji initiative that was pioneered by Governor Sonko.
